Bamboo blade colored with achiote paste, thread made of
chambira palm leaves, glue made of bee propolis, handle made
of unknown wood, possibly tamshi.

Obtained from federal rangers who protect the tribe’s land from
trespassers. The Matis live using their natural ways to this day,
hunting and gathering.
