Barley is a cereal grain that is made into flour or malt for making beer. The grains were once used as a unit of measurement, and shoe sizes still go by units of barleycorns in Great Britain today.

Powdered barley grass is high in Vitamin C, iron and minerals. Add it to smoothies, shakes, yogurt, soups and stews.
