Activated Charcoal

Activated Charcoal, also known as activated carbon, is most commonly made from wood but can also be made from coconut husks, bamboo, peat or other carbon rich sources. It is widely used for water purification, body care such as face masks, teeth whiteners. Not for food use. 

Activated carbon powder can be mixed with water, apple cider vinegar, rose water or even honey to make a face mask. In addition to face masks, activated charcoal can be used as a teeth whitener.
